The very sad passing of John Blackman this week has brought back the Experts Podcast a little earlier than expected.

John Blackman is a name that you can very easily put next to Bert Newton, Ernie Sigley, Darryl Summers as a media legend. The fast wit and comedy genius of the man saw him at the top of his game in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Well known for his contribution on mandatory watching Hey Hey it Saturday he was the glue that kept everything together. The characters that he conjured up, the delivery was quick and swift and the humour was off the charts.

This is a chance to get to know John a little better from someone that worked with him and stayed in touch regularly through the good times and not-so-good times. Evan Broadway was a young panel operator when he got to work with John… and stayed in contact with regularly over all these years.
