Federal Sports Minister Bridget McKenzie has cast a national spotlight on the surprising decline of physical education and sports in our schools, calling for mandatory PE lessons. With 81% of school aged kids not moving enough, it seems like a no brainer to get kids moving more at the place they spend their most time – at school. But in an already crowded curriculum and with declining resources in schools, how can we ensure that our kids reap all the physical and educational benefits of good old-fashioned movement?
