About:
Neryl is a communication and credibility expert who shows leaders and teams how to stand out, accelerate success and avoid costly reputation mistakes.
She has been a professional communicator for more than three decades, including a career in television and radio and a stint as an Olympic announcer. She has also spent many years managing high-profile issues in the public and private sectors, and training executives and entrepreneurs on leading in the media spotlight.
Neryl has a PhD in Journalism and am an Amazon best-selling author on media and reputation. She has also lectured in public relations at the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of Wollongong.
Experience:
Neryl started in Sydney radio way back in the 80s, before moving to television and the WIN Network where she was a reporter, producer and weekend presenter. During that time she mentored and trained many young journalists and established the company's western NSW news operations (which were sadly axed in June 2019).
After leaving WIN Neryl freelanced for the Australian and the Southern Cross and Prime networks before moving into corporate communications. Her roles included:
