Erika Wells – ABC Kimberley

EON Foundation

Students race against clock to harvest and cook.

Freshly harvested vegetables always taste best and a meal you’ve made with them all the better.

Students in the tiny remote Kimberley community of Yiyili have a flourishing garden they created and tend daily with their teachers and the EON Foundation.

They recently had a cook off competition, to harvest from the garden, cook a meal and present it to a panel of local judges – all against the clock.

And the meals they created will amaze you!

Guest: Erika Wells, EON Foundation Yiyili resident
