Australia’s leading financial wellness app, WeMoney has introduced a new consumer survey program, the WeMoney People’s Choice Awards.

The awards are designed to provide valuable insights from thousands of real Australians when it comes to  shopping for household appliances, rating their experiences and uncovering the best-in-class in each category.

“With the soaring cost-of-living, Australians want opinions they can trust when it comes to big ticket items for their home. WeMoney’s People’s Choice Awards will help them make savvy buying decisions. By reviewing what their peers have purchased and how satisfied they are, shoppers can be confident they’re buying high quality appliances with exceptional value,” WeMoney’s Dan Jovevski said.

The survey measures customer satisfaction across factors including overall experience, value for money, product quality, and reliability. The WeMoney winner’s badge will appear on products across Australia.

In the inaugural WeMoney People’s Choice Awards, WeMoney surveyed 1,000 Australian consumers for their opinion on the best televisions, coffee machines, washers and dryers.

In the TV category, Samsung was voted the leader in overall satisfaction, with Ffalcon recommended for best value and Sony for best quality.

In the espresso machine category, Breville was the winner for overall satisfaction, with De’Longhi voted for best value and best quality. In the coffee pod machine, Breville was again named for overall satisfaction, as well as best value with Dolce Gusto recommended for best quality.

In the laundry category, Haier was voted the leader in overall satisfaction and best value in front load washing machines, with Samsung taking the award for best quality.

LG received a clean sweep in top load washing machines, while Fisher & Paykel received a clean sweep in clothes dryers, both taking the award for overall satisfaction, best value and best quality.
