Chris Young is an experienced media professional with an impressive radio and television career.
Chris started out working in radio at 6IX as a cadet journalist in 1976 then moved into the newsroom at Radio 6PM (now 92.9fm). He was recruited to Seven News in 1981 to work as a sports reporter and remained there until his semi-retirement in July 2022.
He was Sports Editor at Seven for more than 25 years. In 2016 he made a move into general news to take on the role of Senior Producer, responsible for the 4pm Afternoon News.
