‘Convenience’ fees must stop altogether! The big four banks have stepped up and removed $2 fees for withdrawals at competing banks’ ATMs, but the issue is bigger than just the banks. It’s about ‘convenience’ fees in general. Penalising customers because they don’t bank with you has continued to erode trust from the very people banks are trying to keep. So what does this mean for customer service?
