Hollywood stuntwoman Ky Furneaux opens up about film industry sexual abuse.

The Weinstein controversy is currently dominating headlines across the world, and countless women within the industry are speaking up about the sexual abuse they’ve experienced. This morning, Hollywood stuntwoman, Ky Furneaux, shares with Fairsy why she believes this issue is so common within the film industry. “It’s a very fine line between what’s okay and what’s not okay,” she says. “It’s an industry that the lines blur very quickly and very easily.” Ky also opens up about the effect these type of incidents have had on her career. “It’s one of those things that I believe possibly every female in the industry has encountered and been a part of at some stage.” “My choice was to not make that kind of behaviour okay, but as a result, I guess the amount of jobs I got did suffer there for a while because I refused to play the game.”
